Formation History and Purpose

The Club was formed in July 2015 primarily for Past and Present international Rotarians but also to welcome other like-minded Service Club members i.e.: InnerWheel, Probus, Round Table, Ladies Circle, 41Club, Tangent Club,  Lions Club (their ladies and gentlemen) either living or with holiday homes or visiting the Bergerac area, who for various reasons (e.g. language, weekly, evening meetings. full commitments) did not wish to become directly involved in the local French Rotary Clubs.  The original meeting was attended by 14 potential members and has increased to 48 with a normal luncheon average attendance of 20/22.

The minutes of the inaugural meeting give more details of the History behind the formation of the Club.
